We were overwhelmed by the generosity of our two hosts, who were fantastic, nice, and helpful people. Staying in a guest house allows you to experience the warmth of the Scots. They were extremely friendly and gave us recommendations for places to visit and eat. Breakfast was excellent, and vegan options were available. We strongly recommended it! This b&b is a real find. Very clear signage outside so easily found on the street. Great parking facilities at the back. Although the interior was a little dated, the room was so well appointed with all facilities you could need. It was also exceptionally clean. The bed was incredibly comfortable and I ended up looking at the make of the pillows,as I've been searching, unsuccessfully for ages . John the host was very friendly and thoughtful, checking that I knew my way in the local area. The breakfast facilities were also great. Can't rate it highly enough, just wish I'd known about it before.

Southbank is a Georgian town house in the middle of Elgin and the Whisky Trail. It is a few minutes' walk from the town centre's shops and restaurants. Breakfast was really good. Isabel was a great host/owner. She went above and beyond to help us with recommendations and golf tee times. The neighborhood is cute and within walking distance to great restaurants and shopping. Came for a race in dufftown and the proximity to everything from Elgin was great
