In the beautiful and peaceful village of Hatfield Heath, just 10 km from Stansted Airport, this family-run hotel has its own leisure centre with a heated indoor pool. Very calm and peaceful country side, with friendly people a lot of nearby places to walk around and visit (lakes, farms, stables and a public park). Hunters Meet itself has a lot of facilities and very friendly staff, more than I'm used to when going a little remote from the cities.

Just 20 minutes from Central London by train, this hotel just off the A412 has close connections to the M25 and M1 and is 2 minutes from Watford Junction Train Station. It was very nice, I recommended.

Dating back from the 17th-century and located a 5 minutes’ walk from Hemel Hempstead Train Station, this family-run hotel offers free parking, free Wi-Fi and an award-winning conservatory restaurant. I was pleased to be able to book a ground floor room as my arthritic knees are not much good on stairs. (!) The room was very clean and we liked the bathroom which was quite spacious and equipped for folk such as myself with mobility problems. Both continental and cooked breakfasts were excellent. The stsaff were very helpful and friendly.
