The Osprey is a one of a kind hotel in the heart of Scotland. We booked it on a whim on our way back to Edinburgh after a week in the Highlands, it had the perfect location since we didn’t want to drive for too long, great reviews and a room available for three. Already at check-in you feel that it’s something out of the ordinairy. The owners Des and Sinead are warm and kind people with a great sense of humour, happy to help with restaurant suggestions or things to do in the area (or a birthday song, if you’re lucky!). The hotel itself is beautiful inside out, from the floral wallpaper and wooden floor to the picturesque stone facade partly covered in plants, nothing is left to chance. There’s no fuss or haste at The Osprey and we left feeling relaxed, well rested and wanting to come back! If the above isn’t convincing enough, in addition: The room was the nicest we had during our week in Scotland, super comfortable beds and bedding, a nice view over the park outside and very tasteful interior. The breakfast had a broad range of tasty and filling choices. The town of Kingussie itself was very charming and well worth a visit. I honestly can’t recommend this place enough.

Cromarty View Guest House Accommodations & B&B, a property with a garden, is situated in Dingwall, 24 km from Inverness Castle, 8.5 km from Strathpeffer Spa Golf Club, as well as 24 km from Inverness Railway Station. This 3-star guest house offers full-day security and a housekeeping service. Free WiFi is available and private parking can be arranged at an extra charge. Host was friendly and the location is great as there are large stores close to the guest house (Tesco etc.). The room and bathroom were both great, clean and tidy. There was also extra of everything such as toilet paper, pillows, bed sheets.

This 3-star bed and breakfast offers luggage storage space and private check-in and check-out. The property is non-smoking and is situated 3.1 km from University of the Highlands and Islands, Inverness. Averon House was conveniently located walking distance to the town center. We loved that we could park in front of the house and walk to town. The room was sparkling clean and the Host Sergio was the kindest man ever. He was so dedicated to making us feel welcome, informed, and comfortable.

The 3-star guest house is 32 km from Loch Linnhe. Boasting family rooms, this property also provides guests with a terrace. Very cosy and comfortable room and bed. Very quiet and hosts were friendly and helpful. Delicious breakfast. Beautiful view from the dining room.

The units are equipped with heating facilities. Loved the location and the view from the room. Absolutely exeeded my expectations. Walked to dinner and surrounding shops near by. Perfect location if you don't have access to a vehicle, but if you have a vehicle there is parking available. Leah the host was lovely and made sure we knew our way around the place, everything from check-in to check-out went smoothly. Can't fault anything.

You can play table tennis, darts and mini-golf at this 3-star bed and breakfast, and the area is popular for skiing and cycling. The bed and breakfast features a barbecue, outdoor fireplace and sun terrace. Traditional English breakfast but had other options as well. It was very good.
