The Loch Ness Inn is located in the village of Lewiston, near the Great Glen Way. It offers rooms with free WiFi and free parking. one of the best hotels I ever was in Scotland. Stunning! Good food good service excellent room. Loved it! :-)

It’s hard to describe why you leave some places feeling happy and warm at heart, (and not really wanting to leave at all) but I’ll give it a go. The Osprey is a one of a kind hotel in the heart of Scotland. We booked it on a whim on our way back to Edinburgh after a week in the Highlands, it had the perfect location since we didn’t want to drive for too long, great reviews and a room available for three. Already at check-in you feel that it’s something out of the ordinairy. The owners Des and Sinead are warm and kind people with a great sense of humour, happy to help with restaurant suggestions or things to do in the area (or a birthday song, if you’re lucky!). The hotel itself is beautiful inside out, from the floral wallpaper and wooden floor to the picturesque stone facade partly covered in plants, nothing is left to chance. There’s no fuss or haste at The Osprey and we left feeling relaxed, well rested and wanting to come back! If the above isn’t convincing enough, in addition: The room was the nicest we had during our week in Scotland, super comfortable beds and bedding, a nice view over the park outside and very tasteful interior. The breakfast had a broad range of tasty and filling choices. The town of Kingussie itself was very charming and well worth a visit. I honestly can’t recommend this place enough.

Host was friendly and the location is great as there are large stores close to the guest house (Tesco etc.). The room and bathroom were both great, clean and tidy. There was also extra of everything such as toilet paper, pillows, bed sheets.

The place was stacked with butter, sauces, cleaned utensils, Coffee Machine with beans loaded, corn flakes and oats etc. The washing machine and dryer was in mint condition to use. The host allowed us for a late checkout at 12 as we were travelling with kids. The view was amazing of the new SKYE bridge.

Very cosy with the pellet fire which we loved, not luxurious but very clean comfortable and warm, great to be able to take our dog, walks straight out of the back gate and a neat and tidy garden

Averon House was conveniently located walking distance to the town center. We loved that we could park in front of the house and walk to town. The room was sparkling clean and the Host Sergio was the kindest man ever. He was so dedicated to making us feel welcome, informed, and comfortable.

Loved the location and the view from the room. Absolutely exeeded my expectations. Walked to dinner and surrounding shops near by. Perfect location if you don't have access to a vehicle, but if you have a vehicle there is parking available. Leah the host was lovely and made sure we knew our way around the place, everything from check-in to check-out went smoothly. Can't fault anything.
