Set behind Douglas Promenade on the Isle of Man, this 3-star hotel offers en suite rooms with free Wi-Fi and a Bar & Lounge serving both traditional and contemporary cuisine. I have stayed at the Welbeck several times before and I really like it. Rooms are spacious and comfortable and the breakfasts are lovely. Sadly, missed one on departure due to early ferry. Staff always super friendly.

The seafront Ellan Vannin Hotel overlooks Douglas Bay and Douglas Beach. The hotel is 1 minutes’ walk from the beach and within 5 minutes’ walk of the ferry terminal and bus station. We opted out of the breakfast, poor quality and hopeless coffee service, antiquated coffee maker. Asked for a refund on breakfast costs. Said they would refund?

On the scenic Queens Promenade, The Rutland Hotel is an elegant building on the Isle of Man. The hotel was perfect for my stay, could not fault anything.

In central Douglas, ideally located close to the promenade, business centre, shops and restaurants, this friendly, family-run guest house has free parking and wonderful views. A traditional Manx seaside hotel, had everything we needed plus a nice bar and restaurant. We had a great view over Douglas bay from our room, a large comfy bed and a nice walk in shower. Scott was extremely helpful sorting our booking and Rumen and Dani provided fabulous breakfast and dinner each day. Our dogs were made so welcome and accompanied us in the evenings when eating in the restaurant at which point they received lovely treats from Rumen! It was very easy to walk to Douglas promenade, Frank Matchams and Bonzai at the Sefton less than 10 mins walk away and both worth a visit. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and will hopefully return in the future.
