Dette lille og familiedrevne metro-hotel tilbyder gode busforbindelser til centrum af Edinburgh, som ligger mindre end 3 km fra hotellet. Utrolig charmerende vært og ansatte. Følte os meget velkomne. Stort rum til tre med behagelige senge. Skøn morgenmad og transport til byen stort set lige uden for døren. God og rigelig morgenmad.

I have stayed in 18 different places during my trip to the UK and I have never once thought about writing a review whilst I am still staying in the place, that's how good this place was! This place is lovely!!. I unfortunately didn't receive the messages that were sent to me because I didn't check the app due to reception issues and I had to call to get let in to the car park (my fault). The lovely worker was really nice and came out and opened the gate for me. I was extremely exhausted from my trip as I drove really far today and I didn't let them know what time I was going to be arriving, yet he was nothing but patient and kind. Now to the room, as you can see, by the pictures, it's very clean, very new and very cosy. I am extremely impressed first of all, with the lighting options. I have experienced nothing but terrible lighting during my stay in the UK at other places. I would say out of the 18 places I've stayed, maybe 1 or 2 had good lighting. This place there is ample options of lighting including mood lighting behind the bed, which I absolutely love. Because I always sleep with a light on when I'm not in my own home. Onto the bed. The bed is extremely well made. I'm currently lying in it and it's very comfortable and very clean. I love that there are soft and hard pillows to choose from! (However unfortunately neither pillow was comfortable to me, but that's a personal preference thing!) In Relation to the heating, its perfect. The room is a toasty 21°, and you can change it on the wall or on the thermostat against the wall. There is a little kitchenette, which is perfect. It's got everything that you need, like a mini fridge and microwave, and it has cutlery and plates, etc. The bathroom is very nice and clean and I absolutely love love love the fact that there is a recess to put your items.

Old Aberlady Inn ligger i Aberlady, 2 minutters gang fra Aberlady Bay Beach. Her en have og en bar samt gratis wi-fi. Der er desuden røgfrie værelser. English atmosphere. If you are from abroad and want to spend a day/night in a very English place it is a perfect one. Plus they have Guinness like Ale :)

Wester Muirhouse ligger i Linlithgow, 16 km fra Hopetoun House og 19 km fra Forth Bridge, og har en have samt et fælles opholdsområde. Rigtig god plads, skøn stor seng. Dejligt med morgenmad i køkkenet, som vi selv kunne lave. Super venlig og hjælpsom vært. Helt perfekt og roligt, ude på landet. (30 min til Stirling, 45 min til Edinburgh)

Sonas Guest House tilbyder gratis parkering og gratis wifi samt lyse, hyggelige værelser. Den historiske Royal Mile og Holyrood Park ligger blot 20 minutters gang derfra. We had a wonderful stay! The host was incredibly nice and attentive. The accommodation is in a lovely, peaceful neighborhood, yet still very close to the city center – the perfect balance. The room was spotless, very cosy, with a huge and comfortable bed. Every morning, we were surprised with some delightful treats from the host, which made our stay even more special. Highly recommended!

This Victorian house is in large gardens and has easy access to Edinburgh's city centre by bus. It offers free Wi-Fi and free parking. Located really close to bus stops, which made getting to and from the accommodation really easy. Cath was super lovely and responsive over message and she was super helpful! We would 1000% come back and stay here. The beds were super comfortable and the bathroom newly renovated and clean.

Mercat Cottage ligger i Port Seton, 1,9 km fra Seton Sands Longniddry Beach, 14 km fra Muirfield og 18 km fra Arthur's Seat. Der er gratis wi-fi overalt og privat parkering på stedet. Sandilands House ligger i Edinburgh, 2 km fra Edinburgh International Conference Centre og 1,9 km fra Murrayfield Stadion. Her er en terrasse og gratis privat parkering samt gratis wi-fi overalt. We had a great stay at Sandilands House. John is a quirky host and his wife is just wonderful. Breakfast was very good, we were allowed to leave our luggage on check out day at a designated luggage spot as our flight left quite late. The room we stayed in was cozy and for our two nights‘ stay all we needed. City center is a quick 25mins walk or 7mins by bus, bus stop is right in front of the house.
