Wester Muirhouse was a great accommodation convenient to the EDI airport, only about 25 minutes away. We have the quad room facility. The bedrooms were clean, spacious, comfortable and well appointed. The sunroom was a wonderful spot to sit and relax with nice views across the countryside The kitchen was well appointed, and the food supplied for the cook it yourself breakfast was very good. The owner was communicative, friendly, and very helpful even as we arrived late in the evening in a rain storm.

Alba House Hotel has a quiet location less than 3.2 km from Edinburgh Waverley rail Station. A number of local buses run regularly from the stop outside the guest house. Located really close to bus stops, which made getting to and from the accommodation really easy. Cath was super lovely and responsive over message and she was super helpful! We would 1000% come back and stay here. The beds were super comfortable and the bathroom newly renovated and clean.

Property is on a main road and our room was right at the front of the house but it was very quiet and had a great sleep. Breakfast was amazing. The host, john was a wonderful, funny host. We walked to town both days and left our car at the house
