This small, family-run metro hotel has easy access by bus to Edinburgh city centre, less than 2 miles away. It offers free on-street parking, free WiFi, en-suite rooms and a bar. We LOVE the host's hospitality! Kevin was an absolute gem! The place was the first stop on our honeymoon, and thanks to Kevin's hospitality, we felt it was the best start we could have ever had! We also loved how big the room and the bathroom were, and the lovely breakfast every morning! Simply blew our minds!

We had absolutely no trouble at all finding the location thanks to Nicola’s excellent directions, and Erich met us on arrival to greet us, show us around, and tell us how things worked. The annex was very spacious and comfortable and had everything we could possibly need. The breakfast items provided were a welcome addition and everyone in the family had something to choose from. The beds were extremely comfy. The fireplace was loaded up with wood and ready to go, but we didn’t need to use it because it didn’t get too chilly. We didn’t have much time to enjoy the apartment since we were only there for one night, but the living area was very nicely set up and there were lots of board games and such available. The rural location is very quiet and a nice break from the city crowds. We have already recommended it to friends who plan to come watch the Edinburgh Tattoo later this year.

With free parking and free WiFi, Sonas Guest House offers bright, cosy bedrooms. The historical Royal Mile and Holyrood Park are just a 20-minute walk away. We had a wonderful stay! The host was incredibly nice and attentive. The accommodation is in a lovely, peaceful neighborhood, yet still very close to the city center – the perfect balance. The room was spotless, very cosy, with a huge and comfortable bed. Every morning, we were surprised with some delightful treats from the host, which made our stay even more special. Highly recommended!

This Victorian house is in large gardens and has easy access to Edinburgh's city centre by bus. It offers free Wi-Fi and free parking. Alba House is a lovely place to stay! Our hosts were very pleasant and gave us great information about getting around the city easily. The bus stop is right across the street! Our room was very comfortable with a modern bathroom and amenities. Great value, too! We highly recommend!

We spent a week in Scotland touring, and this is one that I really enjoyed. It's so easy to access the main attractions in Edinburgh. with the tram at the end of the street (although you can walk if you want.) I loved everything about this place and highly recommend it if you're looking for a unique stay that feels like home. Its eclectic decor is gorgeous, and the check-in is welcoming. The room itself was great - ticked every box and the surrounding area has some nice places and pubs to eat at if you want to stay local. It has a luxe hotel, fully stocked vibey bar where we met some really fun people. It's just hop skip and jump to the bus stop that takes you directly to the airport. It's an absolute winner and if I ever find myself in that part of the world again, I know where I'll be staying.
