Staff were very helpful and accommodated our late arrival. Cottage was very sweet and just what we were hoping for. Rooms were lovely and comfortable and everything was clean and nicely presented. Very convenient parking in the courtyard outside.

The property is situated in the heart of the Peak District National Park, 1,000 feet above sea level, in peaceful open countryside. Lovely hotel in a quiet rural setting. The staff were exceptional and lovely breakfast and dinner. The lunch packs were a nice touch.

Absolutely loved the place, it was super cosy, had everything we needed and more. Great facilities. I don't think the listing really does the place justice, it's plenty big enough for 2 people and has lots of cool and interesting art and furniture. The kitchen is small but big enough and well equipped for what we needed. Shower was good. Underfloor heating was amazing after coming in from long hikes. Very quiet especially at night, was able to sleep very well, bed also very comfortable.
