The room was large and spotlessly clean. The access to the town and wider with the train service was perfect for us. It was a really nice atmosphere and the staff were welcoming and sorted anything we needed. The breakfast was great. Will be recommending this place to friends and definitely returning ourselves!

Situated in the heart of York, The Bar Convent Guest House is only a 15-minute minute walk from the city centre and just over 300 metres from York Railway Station. I had a vey friendly and helpful welcome. The hotel has charm in abundance and is well located to explore York. Great room. Nice and quiet. And breakfast great. Super value for money.

Sanders Yard is a family owned and operated business offering accommodation in Whitby since 1998. This is a little diamond in old Whitby. Perfect location. Very reasonably priced. My only wish is that the Sanders Yard Bistro opened at 9am for brekkie.

The apartment was fabulous finished to a high standard with lots of space. The view was incredible and perfect distance to the town centre. Everything you could need for a long weekend or more with an oven and fridge etc.

Rooms were spacious, food very good and staff so friendly. It is one of the few places we have stayed in recent times that provided a non-slip mat for the shower alcove - most are downright dangerous but this was really good in that regard. Set in open and pretty Yorkshire countryside, the place has obviously been improved progressively in recent times. Highly recommended.
