This central Chania hotel is just 200 metres from the Old Town walls and the Venetian harbour. The location of the hotel is amazing. The hotel is very clean, recently renovated. Breakfast is not of a huge variety, but was delicious and plenty. Our room had a great view towards Chania's old town and the sea. We'll certainly be back! No parking, but apparently they have an agreement with a hotel next door and we had no problem with parking our car.

El Greco Hotel is located in the Old Town of Chania, right next to the Venetian harbor and only 500m from the beach of Nea Chora. Location was on spot- in older part of the city, close to everything (on foot) and surroundings felt different- in a good way!

This is a great property in short driving distance to the gorgeous beach in falassarna. There are multiple tavernas nearby by car. Spilios was our favourite. The room was comfortable, air conditioner strong, shower worked well. The pool is small but nice and there are lots of loungers. Breakfast was simple and nice. The best part of the hotel was Angelo the concierge. He gave us wonderful tips on where to visit and eat. Everything he told us was exactly right.

Great staff, clean rooms and comfy beds. Nice view from the 2nd floor balcony and a convenient location for those who travel by car - between Chania and the majority of the best beaches of Crete. I didn't try the pool, yet it looks nice and clean. Would definitely recommend to others and personally I think it deserves more than 3 stars.
