Featuring a restaurant and a pool with sun terrace amidst its palm-tree garden, Royal Sun lies within 3 km from the centre of Chania Town. The stay was perfect, the location and views were amazing, transportation to Old Town on daily base, with acceptable prices in the restaurant(It's better to reserve the restaurant in advance), but the most amazing was the Staff, good people, attentive and helpful(Special thanks to Nikolas and Katerina)

This central Chania hotel is just 200 metres from the Old Town walls and the Venetian harbour. Friendly staff, amazing breakfast, close to the city center, clean room (daily cleaning), parking service with a decent charge.

I was very please to be met with such a hospitable, friendly owner. Stelios did a great job building this place. First - it is next to the beach. Second, the bathrooms are ample and spacious, and thirdly, the bed is super comfortable. We slept great. There are real black out curtains- allowing you to sleep in if you want . Stelios is a talented and pleasant man who gives you great value for money

We’ve been here for 7 days now and are very sad that we’re leaving tomorrow morning! The location is perfect (only 15min walk to town), the ‘Highway’ is 2 min away, there is 1 big super market next door and the area is suuuuper quiet. You only hear crickets at night and verrrry softly the live music from town which you only hear a little bit from the balcony if you listen closely. The staff, Chara in general is very friendly and helpful and warm. The breakfast possibilities are endless. They also have a Google maps full of food and beach and leisure activities so you don’t even have to think twice about what you can do in the area. The rooms are clean, spacious, romantic, modern and beautiful! Also the cleaning staff doesn’t come till after 12 so even if you want to sleep in, you don’t even have to put the ‘do not disturb sign’ on. Overall a 10 out of 10. Make sure you have a car so you can explore the island, but coming here feels like a home away from home! Will deffff come back here again when we ever choose Crete again! Our stay was absolutely wonderful from beginning to end. A big part of that was thanks to the owner, Sanela, who truly takes care of her guests with heart. Her approach was exceptionally friendly and attentive – she really made an effort to create a homely and relaxed atmosphere. We were pleasantly surprised to find a fridge in the room stocked with complimentary drinks, including a bottle of wine. Even more heartwarming was the touch of trust – at the reception, there was another fridge with drinks priced almost like in a shop, where guests could take what they wanted and simply pay at the end of their stay. This simple concept added a very human and friendly touch to the whole experience. The entire staff we met was smiling, kind, and helpful. The rooms were tastefully furnished and absolutely spotless. The pool was clean, refreshing, and large enough to swim a few laps. We also appreciated the practical extras – such as beach towels and an umbrella provided for guests. Although the accommodation is not directly on the beach, it’s within comfortable walking distance, and the area is peaceful at night, allowing for a good night's sleep. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and if we return to Crete, we would choose the same accommodation without hesitation. Thank you for everything, Sanela!
