From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warmth, kindness, and a level of hospitality that brought tears to our eyes. The staff truly go above and beyond—each smile, each gesture felt genuine and full of heart. You don’t just feel like a guest here, you feel like family. The rooms are nothing short of spectacular. Every detail is thoughtfully curated—the design, the cleanliness, the view… It felt like waking up inside a dream every morning. Stepping out onto the terrace and seeing the breathtaking Aegean Sea, bathed in golden sunlight, was a memory we’ll carry forever. And the breakfast—oh, the breakfast! Each bite felt like a love letter to Greek cuisine. Fresh, local ingredients, beautifully prepared and served with care. It wasn’t just a meal, it was an experience. We looked forward to it every morning with childlike excitement. But perhaps the most magical part of Klostra is the pool. Suspended between sea and sky, it offers a serenity I didn’t know I needed. Watching the sun dip below the horizon from the poolside, tears in our eyes, hearts full… it was a moment of pure peace. Thank you, Klostra, for everything. You’ve given us memories that will never fade.

The location is perfect, not far from Thira (5 min by scooter) and from Oia (20 min), very calm and silent area. The hotel is new, clean and smelling awesome. We booked a room with jacuzzi- totally recommend! Nice view, perfect option after a long day! The staff is awesome. Tamta and Konstantina do their best to make the guests feel absolutely comfortable. The breakfast is excellent, especially waffles. There are enough options to choose. We are really happy with our staying at Onyx it’s a pity that we stayed only for 3 days.

The staff were amazingly friendly and so so helpful, wouldn't have been able to get around the island without them, they even went above and beyond, getting us reservations AND a transfer to nearby restaurants, that we were going to walk to, but they ensured us that it was all uphill, and we're very grateful for them, and the restaurant/taverna Aelos which we also highly recommend. Perfect location for us, when we arrived we were slightly concerned as we were a walk away from Akrotiri (the nearest town) and a fair distance away from Thira (the capital. But when visiting these places we then realised what a perfect location we had booked. Lovely and quiet and out of the way of the hustle and bustle. Very easy transfer routes, local buss which only cost €1.80 to get into the capital.

The staff was amazing: Maria and Betty were so helpful and super nice. The breakfast was delicious with a lot of variety. It's located near the beach. And there was also a stove and utensils to cook in the bedroom. We really recommend 😁

A family run hotel on the quieter side of town with a gorgeous view of the sea. Everything-shopping, restaurants and the bus stand were all within walking distance. The breakfast spread was fabulous! The rooms were clean and the bed and pillows were very comfortable.
