We are retired and have travelled the world extensively. We know when a hotel is not up to expectations (and have walked out of a couple after just a few hours). This place was exceptional. I just reread the past comments - accept what all the good ones say at face value because they reflect our experience there. Irini was exceptional on the front desk and Elizabeth, who cleaned our room every day, was exceptional! When I read each negative review I wondered if they are referring to a different hotel. If those people were expecting a $500 a night experience they should have stayed in a $500 a night hotel - there are lots to choose from on the island. Having a rental car I found there was always a parking space to return to without having the negotiate the narrow streets of the inner town. My wife’s main criteria is a comfortable bed and a clean room and environment. Mohitero got 5/5 on both. We really enjoyed the gardens and the birds and the peace and quiet. We would have no hesitation returning. It was a nice place to come “home” to after a busy day. The pictures on Booking reflect what was saw while there.

Smaragdi lies just 50 metres from the black beach of Perivolos. The Cycladic-style residence offers a large swimming pool, and a hot tub. The entire complex was spotlessly clean. The pool was sparkling. The staff were exceptionally helpful and nothing was an issue. They allowed us a late check out and arranged a super tour for us. They had awesome follow up to any queries we had. Close to the beach and restaurants.

Stepping out onto the terrace and seeing the breathtaking Aegean Sea, bathed in golden sunlight, was a memory we’ll carry forever. And the breakfast—oh, the breakfast! Each bite felt like a love letter to Greek cuisine. Fresh, local ingredients, beautifully prepared and served with care. It wasn’t just a meal, it was an experience. We looked forward to it every morning with childlike excitement. But perhaps the most magical part of Klostra is the pool. Suspended between sea and sky, it offers a serenity I didn’t know I needed. Watching the sun dip below the horizon from the poolside, tears in our eyes, hearts full… it was a moment of pure peace. Thank you, Klostra, for everything. You’ve given us memories that will never fade.

From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by Victoria and Denisa at reception, who went above and beyond to make us feel at home. Their professionalism, attention to detail, and genuine kindness set the tone for a truly memorable stay. The rooms were immaculate, stylish, and incredibly comfortable, perfectly blending luxury with the charm of Santorini. Each morning, we looked forward to breakfast where Litsa and Spiros delivered outstanding service with warmth and efficiency, always ensuring everything was perfect. Every interaction with the team felt sincere, and nothing was ever too much trouble. The seamless service carried through right until check out, making the entire experience stress-free and enjoyable. Onyx Hotel doesn’t just offer beautiful accommodation—it delivers hospitality at its finest. We left feeling cared for and will absolutely return.

We booked the Queen suite.. the sunset view from the room was excellent.. Might book again if visit Santorini. The hotel staff are willing to save our luggage after we checked out which was very helpful to us.Thank you

Amazing view on the caldera and Fira. Very nice, welcoming and friendly staff. (And flexible) When arriving, they upgraded us to a more expensive room, for free. The more expensive room had a very nice hot tube with amazing view. however, the room was right next to the street and we could hear a lot of car noise. When we explained that to the staff, they immediately gave us back our original room, which was way calmer and had even better view! We really enjyoed the common swimming pool with an amazing view and the whole hotel stay. 2 little bottle of water and 2 coffe per day were provided in the room. Akrotiri, the town next the hotel was very cute and much less crowded than Fira and Oia. 20min drive to the airport 20min drive to Fira 34 min drive to Oia

I couldn't be more effusive in my absolute pleasure in staying at Arion Bay. Ilias, the proprietor, is such a wonderful human being. He helped us so much throughout our stay and made sure we were taken care of like we were part of his family! The entire team at Arion Bay were so welcoming, warm and caring towards us. If I could give a rating of 100/10 I would!

From the friendly, personal welcome to the beautiful breakfast by the pool, staying at the Boathouse did not disappoint. Diane and her team make sure all guests are looked after. It’s a great location right by the beach and has a lovely pool. It has a really friendly atmosphere, amongst both the staff and other guests. Can’t wait to go back!
