We are retired and have travelled the world extensively. We know when a hotel is not up to expectations (and have walked out of a couple after just a few hours). This place was exceptional. I just reread the past comments - accept what all the good ones say at face value because they reflect our experience there. Irini was exceptional on the front desk and Elizabeth, who cleaned our room every day, was exceptional! When I read each negative review I wondered if they are referring to a different hotel. If those people were expecting a $500 a night experience they should have stayed in a $500 a night hotel - there are lots to choose from on the island. Having a rental car I found there was always a parking space to return to without having the negotiate the narrow streets of the inner town. My wife’s main criteria is a comfortable bed and a clean room and environment. Mohitero got 5/5 on both. We really enjoyed the gardens and the birds and the peace and quiet. We would have no hesitation returning. It was a nice place to come “home” to after a busy day. The pictures on Booking reflect what was saw while there.

Smaragdi lies just 50 metres from the black beach of Perivolos. The Cycladic-style residence offers a large swimming pool, and a hot tub. Great staff and super clean. Great value for money.

Excellent location in the authentic Finikia area, just a 10-15 minute walk from Oia. The property is new, beautifully designed, and very well maintained. The staff are warm, professional, and always ready to help. Great value for money.

The location is perfect, not far from Thira (5 min by scooter) and from Oia (20 min), very calm and silent area. The hotel is new, clean and smelling awesome. We booked a room with jacuzzi- totally recommend! Nice view, perfect option after a long day! The staff is awesome. Tamta and Konstantina do their best to make the guests feel absolutely comfortable. The breakfast is excellent, especially waffles. There are enough options to choose. We are really happy with our staying at Onyx it’s a pity that we stayed only for 3 days.

We booked the Queen suite.. the sunset view from the room was excellent.. Might book again if visit Santorini. The hotel staff are willing to save our luggage after we checked out which was very helpful to us.Thank you

Amazing view on the caldera and Fira. Very nice, welcoming and friendly staff. (And flexible) When arriving, they upgraded us to a more expensive room, for free. The more expensive room had a very nice hot tube with amazing view. however, the room was right next to the street and we could hear a lot of car noise. When we explained that to the staff, they immediately gave us back our original room, which was way calmer and had even better view! We really enjyoed the common swimming pool with an amazing view and the whole hotel stay. 2 little bottle of water and 2 coffe per day were provided in the room. Akrotiri, the town next the hotel was very cute and much less crowded than Fira and Oia. 20min drive to the airport 20min drive to Fira 34 min drive to Oia

I couldn't be more effusive in my absolute pleasure in staying at Arion Bay. Ilias, the proprietor, is such a wonderful human being. He helped us so much throughout our stay and made sure we were taken care of like we were part of his family! The entire team at Arion Bay were so welcoming, warm and caring towards us. If I could give a rating of 100/10 I would!
