There are also pharmacies and a supermarket within 5 minutes, as well as restaurants, tavernas and bars (special recommendation for pricey Mikro Karavi restaurant, normally priced Botilia taverna and Tarsana - fresh fish is lovely - and medium priced Ankyra). The hotel is spotlessly clean, the housekeeping is immaculate (room meticulously mopped and scrubbed, towels and linen changed every day). All the staff (at the reception, at breakfast, cleaning ladies) are extremely nice and pleasant. The air-conditioning is well placed, not blowing into your head. Breakfast is decent: there are fried eggs (sunny-side up), cold cuts, cheese, pastry, cakes, cereals, milk and yogurt, boiled vegetables (carrots, Brussels sprouts, peas, sweet corn) and fruit (watermelon, apples, peaches), sweet things (jams, peach compote, chocolate spread, rice pudding), fresh bread, tea, filter coffee.
