Although the weather did not allow us to enjoy the beach, due to severe winds, the hotel's facilities were beautiful and well maintained, clean and spacious room with seaview, very smart system to let the staff know that you need room service, the hostess was very kind and friendly, there was a lifeguard in the swimming pool, great service by the staff, everything was charged to the room letting us enjoy our stay without worrying about payments, there is a nice tavern right next to the hotel with delicious traditional food and a spacious parking, which can facilitate the hotel's capacity.

The hotel is perfectly located on the port promenade and although centrally located, the soundproofing is good so you can have your peace and quiet if you close the French windows. Everything is within a short-walk distance, the bus stop is literally across the road (to beaches and villages). The buses operate quite regularly to some beaches, although a car rental is very desirable since a limited number of beaches is covered by public transport (there are a few rentals nearby: Vidalis, Dimitris, Jason). There are also pharmacies and a supermarket within 5 minutes, as well as restaurants, tavernas and bars (special recommendation for pricey Mikro Karavi restaurant, normally priced Botilia taverna and Tarsana - fresh fish is lovely - and medium priced Ankyra). The hotel is spotlessly clean, the housekeeping is immaculate (room meticulously mopped and scrubbed, towels and linen changed every day). All the staff (at the reception, at breakfast, cleaning ladies) are extremely nice and pleasant. The air-conditioning is well placed, not blowing into your head. Breakfast is decent: there are fried eggs (sunny-side up), cold cuts, cheese, pastry, cakes, cereals, milk and yogurt, boiled vegetables (carrots, Brussels sprouts, peas, sweet corn) and fruit (watermelon, apples, peaches), sweet things (jams, peach compote, chocolate spread, rice pudding), fresh bread, tea, filter coffee.

Everything was like 10 minutes walking from the hotel. For the money you are paying the facilities and comfort were phenomenal and way better than I expected.

We appreciated the small touches—fresh flowers in the lobby, extra towels for the beach, and even a chilled bottle of water waiting for us upon arrival. This hotel reminded me why Greek island hospitality is so beloved.

Golden Beach Hotel is set before a privat beach in Agios Fokas. Tinos’ capital is just 2 km away. The rooms at the Golden Beach come with a kitchenette. Each overlooks the sea or the gardens. Great location near the beach, well maintained property with lovely flowers.
