The Mathias Rex guest house is situated in a historic building in the Old Town of Szentendre. All rooms are air-conditioned and non-smoking and offer free internet access. Breakfast was fine. A lot of salty and sweet foods.

Boasting a wellness area and views of the medieval Upper Castle, Hotel Honti Wellness és Konferencia Szálloda is set in the centre of Visegrád. Very welcoming and helpful staff. We didn’t use extra facilities as rode our bikes up to top castle instead. Comfortable room.

We had a quadruple room (2 Adults + 2 kids). The room was quite big and comfortable, clean and supplemented with a tea/coffee tray. The bathroom was equipped with good quality soap sets. The breakfast is simple, but good and the coffee made from beans was good and tasty. We were welcomed with cute tiny ships on the beds crafted from towels =) The most intriguing thing, of course, is that this boat was built in 1848 and was called Kharkiv for a period (which was a big surprise for us Ukrainians). In the ship's hold, we found an amusement room with some activities (many years ago, there was a real casino in that space), so our kids and we were really happy to spend this interesting time there together.
