I always like stopping at this hotel on my way through Europe. It's conveniently situated right off the highway, with a large parking area. The rooms are spacious and clean, with AC and mosquito nets on the windows. The price is affordable, and the restaurant offers delicious Hungarian food until 22:30, perfect for late arrivals. The staff is friendly and very accommodating. The breakfast is varied enough, and the restaurant also has a decent-sized outside terrace to enjoy eating outside. It's a decent and honest three-star hotel, with a touch of good hospitality. :-)

Hotel Barokk lies in a picturesque park close to Hegyeshalom, at the M-1/ M-15 motorway next to the Austrian and Slovakian border. We liked everything - the room and bathroom were spacious and clean, and we enjoyed the great breakfast in the morning. There's a big parking space in the yard, so it wasn't an issue to find a spot even though we arrived late at night. Would definitely stay here again.
