Communal area and restaurant is a nice place to hang out in the evenings. Staff are friendly and helpful - and should you need help with planning amazing local guidance for tours/visits to funeral ceremonies and grave sites etc. with excellent knowledge, then ask for Rashid who can help you plan both guides and driver. We went out with Yohannes (guide) and Mingu (driver) and we had such a lovely few days with them; they went above and beyond to make sure we saw everything we wanted and more and were so knowledgeable in sharing information about the local traditions and culture. Highly educational and lovely!

Reconnect - Private Island Resort & Dive Center Togean - Buka Buka Island er et 3-stjernet overnatningssted der ligger ved stranden i Ampana. Her er en have, privat strandområde og terrasse. Stedet var rigtig hyggeligt, og nærmest som en lille familie. Alle medarbejderne var super hjælpsomme, og vi fik nogle kæmpe store eventyr med Adham som guide på et lokalt jungle trek, både en tur om dagen(hvor vi så cuscus bjørnen, men også om aftenen hvor vi var på opdagelse efter kokosnødder krabber) 🤩🤩 Maden der blev serveret på klokkeslættet var rigtig god og varierende. Og toppen af det hele, vi kunne fra vores hytte, gå direkte ud i vandet og snorkle hvor vi nemt så Nemo(klovne fisk) og andre smukke fisk......og hvis man svømmede 100meter ud gik revet 30meter ned med de flotteste koraller 😍

It was perfect and beautifully appointed with lots of outlets, hooks, and flat surfaces for your things. Also, great air conditioning. Water dispenser in room with hot and cold (tea/coffee too). Our bathroom was beautiful with one open air shower and one covered. Everything was really clean. Restaurant was fantastic. Loren the chef is amazing. House reef is terrific. Snorkelling/dive staff were accommodating and professional. Boats were clean and new. Beach is beautiful to walk. Grounds were lush and well kept. Staff was really friendly and helpful. Well run operation. Great all around. Highly recommend.

It is an absolutely amazing place if you want to go diving or snorkeling. The equipment for these activities is absolutely perfect and the service provided is also perfect. All the staff are extremely friendly and helpful. You really get the feeling that everyone here cares about your utmost comfort and satisfaction. The choice of food and drink in the restaurant is more than plentiful and we really didn't miss anything here.

Thalassa Dive & Wellbeing Resort har 1 udendørs swimmingpool i skyggen af junglehaven, restaurant samt lounge og café. The rooms are very spacious, comfortable and clean and have large windows, which gives the feeling to be in the middle of nature. The diving equipment, boat and guides are great and allow for excellent diving experience. However, don't miss to do the activities as well. The local guides are really nice people and can tell a lot about the local life and things to see on the tours. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Huge thanks to Reiko, Agnes, and their amazing team—they were incredibly helpful and made our stay truly memorable. The location is unbeatable—right on the most stunning private beach in Bunaken. It’s peaceful, serene, and perfect for relaxing and recharging. You really feel like you’ve found your own little corner of paradise. Our room was spacious, comfortable, and opened up to an incredible sea view. One of the biggest highlights was the food—every meal was delicious, thoughtfully planned and cooked with love by Chef Agnes & her team. You can truly taste the care they puts into every dish. We joined snorkeling and dolphin-watching trips arranged by the villa and were lucky to see an abundance of marine life. We also rented a bike to explore the island, which was a fun and easy way to take in the scenery. After checking out other beaches, we can confidently say that the one right in front of Cha Cha is the best. By comparison, Liang Beach was unfortunately quite dirty, with lots of trash and boat traffic—not ideal for swimming. As for drawbacks, there really weren’t any major issues. The only small thing was that the air conditioner couldn’t be used at night due to power limitations—but opening the windows and using the fan worked just fine. It’s all part of the charm, really—this villa is tucked away in a quiet, remote part of the island, and we absolutely loved that. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking to unwind and fully immerse themselves in the natural beauty of Bunaken.
