Situated in the heart of historic Cashel, Rockville House B&B offers free on-site parking and is just a 5-minute walk from the famous Rock of Cashel. The host Patrick Hayes and his wife Heidi were superb and made us as South Africans feel very welcome. Lovely to chat to them and an awesome breakfast!

Aherlow House Hotel & Lodges is a private escape in the tranquil surroundings of the Gal tee Mountains. The historic Cahir Castle and the Rock of Cashel, are both within 30 km from the property. One of our favourite places to stay. Comfortable rooms, friendly and accommodating staff, beautiful surroundings/view and great food. One of the best parts is opening the windows to the wonderful smell from the forest and all the different plantings.

In the centre of Thurles town, the 18th-century Hayes Hotel offers an on-site restaurant and coffee bar, as well as a nightclub on weekends, with live music and entertainment. The room is spacious and clean. The dinner and breakfast in the restaurant are yummy. The portion is big too. The young girl at the reception is very helpful - many suggestions on where we should spend the time around the area.

This beautiful old Georgian house from 1832 has views of the River Suir, and 3.5 acres of gardens at the foot of the Comeragh Mountains. Excellent staff, beautiful room, amazing meals.

Cahir House Hotel is on the town square, by the River Suir. It has a traditional bar, a bistro and a beauty salon, and offers free Wi-Fi in public areas. We were welcomed by friendly staff. The room was very large and clean. The breakfast was excellent.
