This hotel exceeded expectations- the staff are so friendly and helpful. The rooms are a good size and really comfortable with really lovely decor. Breakfast was great value for money fresh fruit and cereals and hot food made to order which was delicious.

The apartment was spacious, clean and well equipped with utensils for self catering. The laundry was a bonus not having to find a laundromat in town. The views of the lakes and mountains from across the road were stunning.

Jim and Mary were very kind and welcoming. They have a beautiful, large, and clean home. They even let us hang our laundry out back. And the location was beautiful; overlooking a bay! The price was the best we experienced on our entire stay; very affordable. The photos we saw actually weren't as nice as the reality of the place.

The best breakfast, bed and pillows we have had our whole trip. A lovely walk into town for dinner. Marvellous.

Liked the mirrors in the room, enough space in the shower (compared to other places in Ireland). Loved the hostess, very open, just you need to ask if you want something. Got amazing coffee in my thermo cup :) and breakfast was served as in a restaurant, very welcoming experience!

The room is spacious, with a lovely window, a comfortable bed, and a spotless private bathroom. Breakfast in the morning was varied and absolutely delicious.

The family run An Portan Guesthouse is situated in Dún Chaoin on the edge of the Dingle Peninsula. The rooms at An Portan are all at ground floor level and are arranged in a courtyard style. We had a wonderful stay at An Portán Guest House. We were met by Geraldine, who was very friendly and helpful during our stay. We had a delicious Irish breakfast (along with tea, cereal, bread and fruit). We had a lovely view at breakfast and in our room. It was a great location for us doing the Dingle Way (8 minutes away from the path). The Kruger's bar was just a few minutes away (so we could get dinner there). The room was very comfortable and quiet we had the best night sleep here. It was one of our favourite stays in Ireland.
