Our second visit to this rather magical place, where the welcome is genuine and warm in excellent rooms with great WiFi, a fabulous restaurant, excellent facilities. and excellent parking. We were greeted like family by "Jersey" the barman and welcomed to an excellent room by Eileen and her team. Nicely positioned for the Ring of Kerry and the drive round Slea Head. The absolute icing on the cake, was the kindness of the lady on reception who helped to clean the sand from many beaches, out of the footwells on the hire-car, with her Henry Hoover! Service absolutely above and beyond kind.

It is a few steps away from a beautiful scenery. On the other hand, the city is a short ride away which is very convenient. The host is nice and fast in responding. Even though it is summer, the temperature gets really low but the heating is working properly so that's great.

Breakfast in the morning was varied and absolutely delicious.

Overlooking Portmagee’s busy harbour, The Moorings Guesthouse is just a 30-second walk from the pier, offering elegant rooms with marble bathrooms. The room was very large, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent and dinner at the restaurant was very good. The location is right at the marina where we were taking a boat tour in the morning.
