La Lune Fort Kochi is situated in the Fort Kochi district of Cochin, and is 200 metres from Kochi Biennale. Absolutely loved my stay at La Lune! Joseph is the BEST, and the property is fantastic. The room was spacious and functional (equipped with a balcony and additional closet space/nook with desk), and the property is located within walking distance to all of the major fort kochi attractions. The top floor balcony is wonderfully airy and calm, and filled with fresh fruits, vegetables, and herbs. I really had such a wonderful experience here and highly recommend to anyone staying in fort kochi!

From the moment I stepped on the houseboat till I deboarded, the staff was extremely kind, attentive and very accommodating. The meals were top-notch. I wanted to try toddy and the captain helped me to purchase it from a local vendor. Do not miss canoeing in the backwaters to see tiny hamlets on both sides, giving a glimpse into the everyday lives of the people there. My room was surprisingly comfortable, much higher than I expected. The leisurely cruise gave me time to relax and absorb the calmness of nature. No TV or wifi, which is great for digital detox. It's a must-do in Kerala.

We traveled around India for 3 weeks and this was our last stop, and it was hands the best place we stayed at. Here are a few points I want to highlight: - Not only is it good value for money but the rooms are comfortable, clean and feel fresh. - The bathrooms are modern and clean. - The staff and Manoj (the hotel manager) are exceptional hosts and caretakers. - Incredible food! We are avid foodies but we ended up never leaving the hotel for food as they have a great kitchen and it is incredibly reasonably priced. - Manoj acted as our guide and chauffeur for the two days we were there, he planned excursions for us and suggested more things to do which was great. For the first time in 3 weeks, we let the locals take the lead and it went amazing. - great views and balcony in the bedroom! We seriously could not have asked for a better stay; we know how difficult it is to find reliable hotels at an affordable cost in India but this is definitely one of them!
