Guest room and cottage accommodation with a private bathroom and shower is offered at Hotel Hallormsstadur. we loved everything. the stuff members were very kind and helpful. the breakfast was excellent. the room was perfect, although too small. the location on the main road no. 1. it was to expensive for us.

Located 35 km from Hengifoss, Hótel Valaskjálf offers 3-star accommodation in Egilsstadir and features a garden, a terrace and a bar. Free WiFi is available throughout the property and Gufufoss is 23 km away. The hotel and the room were very clean. Brekfast was great, also had dinner there and it was excellent! Staff was polite.
