Beautifully located in a forest area by Lake Lagarfljot, 25 km south of Egilsstadir, is the Hotel Hallormsstadur, close to hiking trails and various recreational opportunities. Great big rooms with amazing lake view! we celebrated a proposal and had experience the best service from the hotel team. Dinner at the hotel’s restaurant was great.

There wasn't a fridge in the room but they let us use a fridge in the kitchen. Check-in and check-out was easy even though we arrived 22:00 on a friday.
