Beautifully located in a forest area by Lake Lagarfljot, 25 km south of Egilsstadir, is the Hotel Hallormsstadur, close to hiking trails and various recreational opportunities. This hotel provides classic hotel amenities and service -- something that is rare nowadays -- for a very good price. Our Superior room was spacious and everything was very clean. The breakfast buffet was very good, the dinner buffet excellent with a wide choice of salads.
