This eco-friendly hotel, 30 minutes’ drive from Reykjavik, is surrounded by nature in the town of Ölfus. Close to golden circle path way tourist areas , close to gas stations. Better to rent car or special tourist shuttle. Breakfast satisfying. Nice stay for horse and nature lovers.

This highland hotel offers a restaurant with traditional Icelandic lamb and seafood dishes. Located by the Hvita River, it is just 3 km from Gullfoss Waterfall. WiFi is free. everything… the restaurant was so good, specifically the Lamb. it was so good, we ordered another just to take on the road with us for our trip. location was 10/10, staff were the friendliest of our entire trip. room was comfy and views were pretty good

Litli Geysir Hotel is on Route 35, located only 200 metres from the world famous Geysir hot spring in Iceland’s Haukadalur Valley. We were upgraded to the Hotel Geysir next door which was fabulous. Beautiful breakfast.

It’s quite remote but the surrounding landscape is stunning. Our room was very comfy with lots of natural light. The food in the restaurant is also fantastic with good vegetarian options. We highly recommend

Welcome to The Hill Hotel, Flúðir - a serene, 3-star oasis promising an unforgettable blend of comfort and adventure. Great place, incredibly cozy and warming. Beautiful hall and rooms, it seems another world. Staff friendly and kind. Absolutely recommended!
