The Basar guesthouse was perfect for us. Very clean and stylishly decorated. Gagga picked us up from the ferry and gave us a lift to the guesthouse. The lady is very nice and helpful, she even offered us how she could help us. We will remember Grimsey and the Guesthouse Basar for a long time. The owners were the friendliest people I have ever met during my travels. Parking was right outside the room, so having heavy luggage was no problem. The bed was stiff and super comfortable, exactly how I like it.

Very Friendly staff /nice big room very comfortable bed / with lovey decor. the hotel has a hot tub and a sauna and they even Loan you the use of a fluffy Bath robe and slip ons for walking to the tub .. two choices for dinner we had the buffet it’s was fantastic breakfast was also the best lots of choice for both definitely recommend this place to stay and if you leave your room number they will ring u if the lights appear .. this place ticked all the box’s
