Situated by Iceland’s Ring Road, Hali Country Hotel offers rooms with views of the Vatnajökull Glacier or the Atlantic Ocean. Jökulsárlón glacier lagoon is 12 km away. Fantastic city to stay in in the first place and very nice, modern and well designed guesthouse. Common area was just wonderful and truly a delight to be in. The best stay we had in Iceland

The amazing location of Hotel Skaftafell provides guests with stunning views of Iceland's highest mountain, Hvannadalshnjukur and the largest glacier in Europe, Vatnajökull. Wonderful place! The restaurant, while a bit expensive, served us wonderful food, perfect after a day of exploring. On top of that, 15 min walk behind the hotel allows you to see two glaciers and wonderful views. The best part was definitely chatting with Pedro, an exceptional receptionist and a great guy!

Just 5 minutes’ drive from Höfn in south-east Iceland, this hotel is found along Route 1, close to the country’s largest glacier Vatnajökull. the hotel is great, the rooms are clean, the beds are comfortable. Basic breakfast but sufficient. thank you, we would love to come back.
