The breakfast buffet was undisputedly the BEST that we had in Iceland (and we stayed in a couple of luxurious places too). The farm animals are cute and everything creates such an inviting and wholesome atmosphere. :)

Hotel Hamar’s rooms feature minimalist modern design, heated floors and a private patio. All have private bathrooms with showers. Very nice staff, great rooms with very comfortable bed and showers. The breakfast is delicious. The sauna and hot tubs are an excellent option after a day of hiking.

Very nice, large room with outstanding bathroom. Excellent breakfast. Perfect location for a stopover during Ring Road trip. A plus - nice 3 km hike to the Grábrók volcano straight from the hotel (or shorter from the parking)
