Our room was avalable ealier - so we could alreday unpack. Breakfast in the morning is really delicious with fresh made coffee and hot croissants!! Even I will not mention the view which is spectacular! and really 5 min to the city center. We loved everything.

Good structure, accessible for wheelchair and people with low mobility, they have elevator. Also offer a heated pool. Really nice breakfast.

In Pietra Hotel is set in the pedestrian area of Matera, 200 metres from the city centre. Private parking is available 300 metres away. This boutique hotel was exceptional. We rented the room with tub and sauna and it was perfect. Room was even larger than expected and the extras of bathrobe, Epson salts and slippers was a great touch. Breakfast was super, even eggs and bacon for those who like a hot breakfast along with all the usual continental and European pastries and focaccia. The music piped into our room was ultra relaxing too …only wish we’d arrived earlier or first day to enjoy it all more.

Staff was polite, helpful and accommodating. Location was perfect, a short walk to the city centre, Palombaro Lungo and Sassi!

The AC was cold and the WiFi fast. We were able to park our car in a lot in front of the hotel or in the underground garage. Best of all, the staff was extremely friendly and made us feel very welcome. I would highly recommend!
