Located just a few steps from the Sassi di Matera UNESCO site, Il Belvedere boasts a furnished terrace with panoramic views of Matera. WiFi is free throughout the property. The view was phenomenal from the hotel. Staff were friendly and helpful. I arrived early and they offered breakfast which was very nice of them to do so. Overall, my experience at this hotel was superb! I would stay here again.

Hotel Martino offers stunning views over the Policastro Gulf, a heated indoor pool, and free lobby Wi-Fi. The seaside and the private beach are a 10 minute's walk away. Parking is free. We are already planning to return for longer! Wonderful views from our very comfortable and clean room,very helpful staff, beautiful hotel surroundings,a restaurant, delicious breakfast with a gorgeous sea view-and a private beach! We were also picked up from Maratea station and taken back for our next train.Exceptional indeed!

The hotel is smack in the center of old town and in a beautiful 15th Century palazzo originally used by the knights of Malta. The breakfast rooms feature restored affreschi whereas the rooms have been renovated. Overall very clean. Our room had a balcony with valley view that our dog loved. The hotel is dog friendly and the ladies running it are extremely nice.

The hotel was clean and very comfortable. The AC was cold and the WiFi fast. We were able to park our car in a lot in front of the hotel or in the underground garage. Best of all, the staff was extremely friendly and made us feel very welcome. I would highly recommend!

It was our first visit to Rionero and we very much appreciated how welcoming and accommodating Miguel was. The entire staff were pleasant and catered to our every need. The room was clean and had all the amenities we needed. The bed was comfortable and temperature was comfortable too. Our first night in town, my wife and I had an excellent dinner at La Pergola. Our waiter, Nicola was very attentive and made great suggestions on our menu choices. Two nights later we went for pizza with a local Rionero family and we all raved over the food. Service was outstanding and we were happy the restaurant could accommodate a party of 10 on a Saturday evening with short notice. Each morning we were welcomed with a cappuccino and pastries that were fresh and tasty. We will stay again at La Pergola when we return.
