Dolomiti Lodge Villa Gaia is an eco-friendly property in the small town of Venas, offering beautiful views of the Dolomites. Breakfast is excelent. Room is enough for one family with 2 kids. Staff was always available to help with anything we need. Sweets and tea were expecting us in the room. Everything was clean.

A mediaeval building overlooking River Isarco in the centre of Chiusa, family-run Walther von der Vogelweide offers alpine-style rooms and a restaurant with vaulted ceilings. The staff was wonderful, in particular, Daniel. The hotel was clean, comfortable and the food was very good. I would highly recommend.

About 3 km from Bolzano, Eggentaler is a 3-star hotel 15 km from the Carezza and Latemar ski slopes. It offers an outdoor pool, sun terrace and free ski storage. The room was very clean. Breakfast was excellent.

Just 700 metres from the centre of Dobbiaco, Hotel Rosengarten features a traditional restaurant and views of the Dolomites. This family-run hotel offers a free shuttle to Dobbiaco Train Station. We stayed in the penthouse. It probably was the most stunning apartment I have ever stayed in. A true proof of quality workmanship and style. The jacuzzi on the terrace was the cherry on top (the mini-bar style cupboard on the terrace was also genius). The dinner and breakfast were also very good. Every evening was an experience, not just a simple dinner. We enjoyed the local dishes and the atmosphere. The highlight of the breakfast definitely were the fruit juicers. We enjoyed freshly squized orange, apple, carrot, etc. juice every morning.

Many hiking roads around, many places to visit. I will suggest this place to my friends and will definitely come back :)
