The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The location was nice and quiet, which made for a relaxing stay.

Everything was perfect, big room, nice look out of the window, very clean and very tasty breakfast! Our expectations have been met!

Hotel Serena offers bright airy rooms with LCD satellite TV, air conditioning and elegant parquet floors. All rooms have a balcony, some with views of Grado's lagoon. We loved the stay. Staff was much helpful, communication good and breakfast just great! Always found parking close by. We never used the TV, so can't give any feedback on that.

Staying at Hotel Castrum during our visit to Grado was an absolutely wonderful experience. The hotel exceeded our expectations in so many ways, and we couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. The room were extremely comfortable and well air-conditioned, making it a perfect retreat after a day of exploring. The hotel itself is new and modern, with a very convenient elevator that added to the ease of our stay. Its location in the heart of the old town was ideal—everything we wanted to see was just a short walk away. At the same time, the hotel is tucked slightly off the main streets, so we were spared the noise and bustle, which made for peaceful evenings. The staff were incredibly helpful and kind. A special thank you to the lovely Polish lady who showed us where to find a fantastic free beach and recommended a restaurant with the best Neapolitan pizza in town. Another staff member went out of her way to lend us her personal bottle opener when we needed one. These small but meaningful gestures made us feel so welcome and well cared for. We were also impressed with how the owners accommodated our need for secure parking, going out of their way to arrange it for us. The breakfasts were fantastic—everything was fresh and delicious, with plenty of options to choose from. We particularly enjoyed sitting at the outdoor tables, savoring our meal under the open sky, surrounded by the charm of the Italian old town. As for Grado itself, the town is simply extraordinary—full of grace, elegance, character, and authentic charm. It’s a place that leaves a long lasting impression, and I truly hope to return one day. When I do, I will undoubtedly choose to stay at Hotel Castrum again. To the owners and staff, thank you so much for everything. Location right near the main street of the Grado Historic Centre ands 2 minutes to the dam that surrounds the sea in the area. Restaurants, shops and market within 1 minute walk - it was a tourist's paradise. Breakfast had all that we wanted. Staff was very-very nice, from cleaning lady to the ones serving breakfast, but especially the ladies at reception, who were always greeting us and treating us as if we were VIPs. The more senior lady was exuding positive energy and good vibes every day :) This was excellent Italian hospitality, and I highly recommend this hotel.

A 5-minute drive from the centre of Grado, Hotel Cristina offers free Wi-Fi throughout and on-site parking. This hotel comprises air-conditioned rooms with garden views and free bike rental. Breakfast is a generous buffet served daily. The hotel is in a quiet street, between the sandy beach and another bay where I recommend going for a bike ride or a walk. Bus stop is also less than 100m away. There is free parking as well. And free bikes, which was a highlight of my trip. The single room is small, but with a large balcony - even had a sea view. All was very clean and tidy, the bed was comfy. Breakfast was also good. The stuff was friendly. You can easily get to the old town by foot and have a nice 20-minute walk. Fully recommend it!
