I loved my stay here! It is a new, small, quiet and very nice hotel, just 8 rooms, a coffee bar on the ground floor and a small restaurant room on the 1st floor. There is a lift, free car park, it's very clean and the staff is super friendly. Castel del Monte is a tiny historical town, a perfect location to explore Campo Imperatore and surroundings. I definitely recommend it!

Located in Barisciano in the Abruzzo Region, 16 km from L’Aquila, Convento di San Colombo is set in its garden and it features a children's playground and views of the mountain. I had an incredible stay at this hotel—far beyond my expectations! The staff were exceptionally hospitable, recommending fantastic places to visit and even offering to customize the breakfast to fit my preferences. Highly recommend this place for an unforgettable experience!

It's away from the nite noise of the main part of town but just a short walk. The restaurant was great, though we only got pizza and calzone but every table had something I wanted. That said, the pizza was amazing. You asked about the bed above. I have a bad back so it's hard to tell, but it didn't hurt so that is a plus. I liked the height, seemed a bit lower than average and I kinda liked that.

Set in a tranquil location in the Gran Sasso National Park, Hotel Nido dell'Aquila offers mountain-style rooms with free Wi-Fi. It features an outdoor swimming pool and restaurant. The property is in a great location if you want to do some hiking in Gran Sasso mountain. About 8-10 minutes walk to Where the cable car is. It was under maintenance when I was there. The staff were all awesome, especially Alfredo and Iryna. Botn are very helpful. A very clean and comfortable place to stay. The breakfast that is included is wonderful. Buffet style with lots of options. The dinner was fantastic with high end quality. I strongly recommend try their dinner. Super delicious.

Located just opposite Aquila Train Station, Porta Rivera Hotel features en suite rooms with flat-screen TV. Wi-Fi is free throughout, and free parking is also available. The staff were very helpful, the room was very clean, and very convenient having the train station across the road
