I was expecting a more motel feel based on price. But this place exceeded my expectations. I heard they recently renovated so maybe that’s part of the reason. Location is perfect. Across the street from train. Breakfast was good. And service/ people were kind. Room was a bit small compared to other hotel rooms but perfect for my husband and I.

Just 30 metres from the pier for boats to the Borromean Islands, La Luna Nel Porto is in Stresa. Each modern suite has a different design and a balcony or patio overlooking Lake Maggiore and the... Amazing view from our large lakeside room and probably the most perfect location at the edge of Stresa center. The hotel was close by the attracrions and restaurants, but still nice and quiet. The staff was just great - so friendly and helpful. Not the largest hotel, but it cozy and charming. The Italian brekfast was plenty enough for us - fresh, tasty and good value. We will come back.

The staff is very helpful and friendly The garden is quite beautiful The room was exceptionally big and clean Everything was perfect!
