On top of Monterosso. Very quiet, nice, elegantly decorated common areas, comfortable rooms. The shuttle is very useful. Breakfast is great and rich. Staff is just lovely. The restaurant recommendations are very good. I loved staying here.

Located just a few steps from the beach, Hotel Marina offers accommodation in Monterosso al Mare, in the Cinque Terre National Park. The staff was very kind and even greeted us around town, the room was very well kept and clean and most importantly very homey. We felt right at home! The breakfast was also excellent, with a small buffet of cakes and desserts and a menu of various dishes, both savory and sweet, all very well-made and in generous amounts. Breakfast was also served in a truly wonderful terrace full of lemon trees which made the experience even more beautiful. The free beach was also a 5-minute walk away and we could always find a space for two towels in the afternoon, which meant that when coming back from exploring the other places we could always put on our swimming suits and go snorkeling (very recommended since the water is crystal clear and full of small fish). We could also borrow their beach towels which was very useful. The way from the train station was a bit uphill (although the whole town is full of ups and downs) but overall pretty quick and full of restaurants and souvenir shops which can come in very handy. We definitely recommend the affiliated restaurant "Da Eraldo" for some good quality fish and seafood and "L'Osteria" for some good local food; the staff of both of these was also very friendly and very willing to make some small talk. We also recommend the trekking trail "Sentiero Azzurro" but be aware that there are some pretty long uphill stairways so start early in the morning if you're planning to go there in summer. Overall our stay was wonderful and there were no complications, truly a wonderful place to spend a couple of days!

Offering panoramic views of the Cinque Terre coastline, Albergo Suisse runs a free scheduled shuttle service to Monterosso, 1 km away. All air-conditioned rooms come with satellite TV. Parking is... We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The view is absolutely breathtaking, and the location is truly incredible. The staff were extremely welcoming and even allowed us to check in earlier than expected, which we really appreciated. One of the highlights is the convenient shuttle bus that runs every hour, taking you down from the mountain and back up again – such a great service and a big plus for this place. The hotel itself is fantastic, and we enjoyed every moment. The only small thing – and it’s not really a minus – is that it would be amazing if the hotel had a swimming pool. With such stunning views, relaxing in a pool would be the ultimate experience. Overall, the hotel is amazing, everything was perfect, and we would love to come back again!

We had plenty of space., it was clean and they provided a very nice breakfast in the morning with good cappuccino. Also, it’s right next-door or across the street from a Catholic Church so we attended mass on Sunday, which was nice although we did not understand Italian .

Featuring a terrace and garden, Hotel La Colonnina offers accommodation in Monterosso al Mare. Guests can enjoy a continental breakfast daily, buffet-style. The rooms were beautiful and we had the most gorgeous terrace that we shared with friends. Highlight was the rooftop. When we left they gave us a breakfast to take away which we were very grateful for.

Set 200 metres above sea level in Moneglia, Hotel La Vigna features an outdoor swimming pool, a garden, and on-site dining. Free WiFi and air conditioning are available throughout. - most friendly welcome we have ever received at a hotel - amazing level of service by all the staff - many personal touches, very homely feel, with many lovely areas to sit - amazing food and very flexible, catering to any of our needs - despite on the small side, modern and very comfortable bedrooms with a nice balcony (beautiful views on mountain and sea side). - great place to start exploring Cinque Terre (although I would recommend avoiding high season like we did, because it gets extremely busy). We parked our car at Moneglia train station (about 10 € for the day), took a train to Monterosso and took the ferry from there.

Located 200 metres from the Ligurian beaches, Hotel Punta Mesco has rooms with air conditioning and free WiFi. It comes with a shared lounge and private parking. We are very thankful for the Punta Mesco team, which helped us to solve the problem, when we left the mobile phone at the hotel’s room. The team send it to our home address, which is really great to think that they used their own time. Many thanks, once again!🙏

A 2-minute walk from Manarola’s rocky beaches, Hotel Marina Piccola features air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi access. It is characterised by the stone walls contrasting with the modern... Both the hotel and the people of it were amazing, we felt really warmly welcomed. Especially the people, they were super kind. The hotel itself was small and cute, located in the perfect spot near the marine area, down the main street of Manarola. Breakfast was amazing. They cooked us pancakes and fresh coffee every morning, everything was just perfectly fresh and delicious. The staff of Marina Piccola really took care of us and helped with any questions or matter. They truly made our vacation a success.
