The apartment itself was a real find—full of old-world charm and original character. The standout feature was undoubtedly the old wood details, which gave the space a warm and authentic feel. The rich, dark wooden ceiling beams and the beautifully worn hardwood floors in the living area told a story and made for a cozy, inviting atmosphere, also the antique wooden furniture and the rustic timber door frames. While the apartment had a classic feel, it was equipped with all the modern amenities we needed. Our hosts, Signora Carla, Signor Francesco and Mateo, were incredibly helpful and made our stay stress-free. Communication was seamless from the beginning, and they offered excellent recommendations for local restaurants and hidden gems. The best thing is parking in the middle of the hotel. We had a truly wonderful and memorable time in Mantova, and this apartment's unique character was a big part of that experience. We would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and perfectly situated home base that offers a genuine taste of old-town Italian life.
