Hotel Mantegna Stazione, MantegnaHotels is opposite Mantua Train Station and a short walk from the banks of River Mincio. Very convenient place to stay if you're stopping overnight in Mantova. Right across the train station, very clean hotel, helpful and kind staff at the reception. The room we stayed at was spacious, comfortable bed, great shower. The room was very quiet. The centre is only a 10 minute walk away. We would definitely stay here again

A charming and convenient base for exploring Mantova's old town We recently spent four nights at a truly unique apartment in the heart of Mantova's old town. The location was absolutely ideal, tucked away on a quiet street but just a short walk from , Lago Superiore, Main Train Station, Piazza Sordello and Palazzo Ducale, allowing us to explore all the major sites on foot. The apartment itself was a real find—full of old-world charm and original character. The standout feature was undoubtedly the old wood details, which gave the space a warm and authentic feel. The rich, dark wooden ceiling beams and the beautifully worn hardwood floors in the living area told a story and made for a cozy, inviting atmosphere, also the antique wooden furniture and the rustic timber door frames. While the apartment had a classic feel, it was equipped with all the modern amenities we needed. Our hosts, Signora Carla, Signor Francesco and Mateo, were incredibly helpful and made our stay stress-free. Communication was seamless from the beginning, and they offered excellent recommendations for local restaurants and hidden gems. The best thing is parking in the middle of the hotel. We had a truly wonderful and memorable time in Mantova, and this apartment's unique character was a big part of that experience. We would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and perfectly situated home base that offers a genuine taste of old-town Italian life.
