The location in the middle of 3 or 4 spectacular “must know” cities in Toscana. The staff were super friendly, even when we booked late night and minutes before we arrive.

There is also an internet point. We loved San Gimignano and the location of the hotel was perfect - in the square, but quiet. The room was a little basic (but we really can’t complain given the price!) but clean, comfortable and roomy. We had a garden view which was great as we overlooked the stunning countryside. The staff were lovely - very accommodating, polite and professional. If (when!) we return to San Gimignano, we would definitely stay at Leon Bianco.

Borgo Grondaie is a large property built out of an old Tuscan farm, just 2 km from the historical centre of Siena. It offers an outdoor salted-water pool, and room and apartment accommodation of various sizes with free WiFi. Great location in a beautiful green environment and at the same time close to the old town. Delicious and plentiful breakfast, friendly and helpful staff. There were free parking next to the hotel. We will be back again.

The hotel is situated on a hill, surrounded by an 18-acre garden with olive trees. Hotel Palazzo Di Valli is the greatest place to stay in Siena. The views are just incredible. The Palazzo, from the 1700s, it’s beautiful. The room is very comfortable. It’s located 10 minutes away from Siena’s historical center. If you have a car there is a ton of places you can visit by driving only 30 minutes. Giacomo was an incredible host. He told us the story of Siena and the Palazzo, he loves talking about history and we loved to listen. Overall a beautiful experience.
