A proper, locally run Italian hotel with friendly staff, great rooms and a frankly perfect location....not right in the noisy middle but two mins on foot to the pedestrianised area, or to the cathedral steps or the roman amphitheatre. Breakfast was a well-managed delight. Good coffee (as you'd hope in Trieste!). Fresh, clean room. And restaurant recommendations from the front desk team were spot on All a great advertisement for Trieste!

The tiles make it sparkling clean. I should really install such tiles to my own bathroom to make it look sparkling clean as well.
