This very nice hotel is superbly located in the beautiful Valley d’Aosta. Not only the view over then alley and the snowy Alps is astonishing, this family (since several generations) owned hotel is a place where you feel very welcome. The room as well as the entire hotel was super clean. The interior is decorated in a warm and classful style. We had dinner there, and when you enter the restaurant, you are welcomed by the entire staff. On a Sunday evening, it was fully booked, with tables decorated with a lot of taste, and with room in between, to have enough privacy. The menu and the food were top and we followed the advice of the host for the selection of a local wine. A special note with regard to the desert, the red wine icecream with black chocolate crumble, is for sure part of the many reasons why we would return to Monte Emilius.

Hotel Duomo is just 15 steps up the stone stairway from Orvieto's majestic Gothic Cathedral. All rooms feature air conditioning, an LCD TV with DVD player, and a small table with 2 chairs. Some offer views of the Cathedral. The room was very nice, staff very helpful, breakfast was fantastic, and we were especially thankful that the hotel explained (in advance, by email) how to drive the the hotel, and then provided valet parking so our time negotiating tiny streets was kept to a minimum.

In the quiet, tranquil hamlet of Dolonne, at the foot of Mont Blanc, this 19th-century property has particularly impressive views. The village park is nearby and there is a children’s snow and fun park just a short walk away. Beautiful small hotel with each and every corner thoughtfully decorated. Staff is very kind and welcoming. Spacilly the lady in front office and the one managing breakfast area. Very close to city centre , just 10 mins walk. This was our second time here, in fact we came back to courmayeur partially because of this hotel
