The place is near the historical places like the Madaba map. The whole city is very beautiful with friendly people.

The new and modern Rumman Hotel is a cozy, family-run business. It is quietly located only a 10-minute walk from the historical centre of Madaba, also known as the City of Mosaics.

The Rumman has 22 nice and simple guest rooms, all with a private bathroom. The hotel has an inviting outdoor restaurant where you can enjoy your included breakfast. I've been to 6 or 7 different hotels in Jordan, this was definitely the best I had! The staff is super welcoming and very helpful. The rooms are spacious, well built (kudos for the shower with water tight doors and for the extra thin bed sheets instead of only the big thick ones), and very clean. The breakfast is delicious and complete. Everything is maintained to a very high standard. The location is good, 10 minutes away from the center. I totally recommend!!

Prime Location: Situated on Madaba’s Heritage Trail, Saint John Hotel is perfectly placed to immerse you in the city’s rich history. Located just 10 meters away from St. John the Baptist Church, visitors can explore the ancient acropolis ruins beneath the church, a fascinating site that reveals layers of Madaba’s historical and cultural significance. The trail connects many of the city’s most treasured landmarks, ensuring guests are just steps away from Dar Al Saraya (5 meters), St. George’s Church and the Mosaic Map, bustling local markets, and authentic restaurants, making it a central hub for exploring the city. Everyone was really kind and helpful, we got information about what we should visit in the city in our holiday. We got the opportunity to buy some souvenirs from the hotel. The room was tidy and well equipped. We had everything that we needed. The breakfast was really taste. We enjoyed our stay in Saint John Hotel a lot. Thank you for everything!
