Don’t think twice, go ahead and book Petra Heart Hotel. First of all, the owner / manager and his staff were just absolutely wonderful. Upon arrival, we were given cold juices — perfect to counter the heat. The check in process was super quick, and they really allotted time to give us tips and directions to better appreciate Petra. The owner is a very kind man — I think we were the only guests in the hotel (which is sad, because I really think they should get more business), and they specially prepared our breakfast just for us. Even cooked us extra omelets when we asked for eggs. He was very attentive, and even explained each of the food items. Before we checked out, he asked for feedback, asked us if everything was right in the hotel room, anything to improve, etc. The bedroom itself was spacious! A lot more roomy than I expected! It offers a lovely view of the sunset, and they even gave us free chocolates as part of the amenities. The toilet was clean, and water pressure was good. It’s walking distance to the restaurants, and super short distance to Petra Visitor Office itself. Book this hotel — you will not regret it.
