The location is spectacular, with Mt. Fuji as the breathtaking backdrop. Waking up to this view every morning from the common area is a dream. The facilities are clean and comfortable, and Michi's willingness to offer advice and help with any needs truly stands out. I extended my stay because I couldn't bear to leave. If you're looking for an unforgettable Mt. Fuji experience with a wonderful host, look no further than Michi's hostel. It's a hidden gem that I wholeheartedly recommend. Music bar provided fun and sociable atmosphere with good drinks and food.

Kagelow Mt.Fuji Hostel Kawaguchiko has been newly renovated in September 2015. Guests can enjoy the on-site bar.

There are shared bathrooms on the ground floor, and Mt. Fuji is visible on sunny days from several rooms. A TV is provided in the Queen Room. I was impressed with how nice the hostel facility is. The in-house restaurant was also a huge bonus. They allowed me to store my bags in the back private room. Minori is an excellent and capable staff member, also! :)

Right on the shore of the scenic Kawaguchiko Lake, Hotel New Century boasts spacious Japanese-style rooms overlooking the lake and Mount Fuji. It features spacious hot spring baths with spectacular nature views, a video games corner and a souvenir shop. Free Wi-Fi is available in the public areas. The hotel was wonderful from the very first moment. We arrived by car and found organized parking right in front of the hotel. The staff warmly welcomed us, took photos of us with the cherry blossoms and Mount Fuji, and then handled our luggage. Check-in was very clear and detailed, and our room had a stunning view of the lake and Fuji — absolutely beautiful! The location was excellent, and the traditional Japanese breakfast was both delicious and a memorable experience. We truly enjoyed our stay and even felt a bit sad that we didn’t have an extra day there. Highly recommended!

Excellent onsen and Kaiseki meal experience in a cozy boutique hotel. Kids enjoy our stay very much.

With a restaurant, the 3-star inn has air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi, each with a private bathroom. Guests can make use of a bar. Property was clean and comfortable. Also the host was very kind and cooperative. We did late check in which was also smooth and the food was also good. Host also offered us complimentary ride to the nearest station. Also gave us apples on our way back. Overall the stay was very comfortable.

The property is around 3.1 km from Kanazawa Station, 300 metres from Saigawa Bridge and 1.1 km from Nagamachi Bukeyashiki District. The property is non-smoking and is set 400 metres from Myoryuji - Ninja Temple. Everything was perfect! Great and cozy place to stay!
