Set in Fujikawaguchiko, less than 1 km from Lake Kawaguchi, HOSTEL MICHIKUSA-YA offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking and a shared lounge. The 3-star hostel has air-conditioned rooms with a shared bathroom and free WiFi. The accommodation provides a shared kitchen, free shuttle service and luggage storage for guests. Place is very clean, owner speaks English and is very helpful and considerate. The dormitory has 12 people capacity but it is not fully used on purpose, in order to keep the place comfortable for all guests. The Mt Fuji view from the shared space/garden is spectacular in the morning, on a clear day (see my pic). Hostel is located in a quite neighborhood a bit out of the tourist attractions, 15-20 minutes walk from the bridge. I stayed there for two nights and rented a bike for 2 days so I can ride back to the hostel. Would definitely stay again.

The rooms include air conditioning, and some units at the economy hotel have a balcony. Each room features an armchair with a footrest. Private bathrooms feature a hairdryer, toothbrushes and free toiletries. The location is very convenient, design of the hotel and the room is nice, good value

Kaname Inn Tatemachi is set in Kanazawa, 800 metres from Kenrokuen Garden and 1.1 km from Kanazawa Castle. Omicho Market is 1.5 km away, while the 21st Century Museum of Contemporary Art, Kanazawa is only 350 metres from the property. Free WiFi access is offered throughout the entire property, and staff are on site 24-hours a day to assist guests during their stay. Great rooms, great location, clean and spacious for a hotel room. Great staff recommendations on places to visit and restaurants. Rachel's write ups on the website were a great guide to Kanazawa and her recommendations of ceramics shops and museums in the samurai district were a delight to visit. The bar downstairs great selection of music the shiso negroni was a favourite of ours.

Kagelow Mt.Fuji Hostel Kawaguchiko has been newly renovated in September 2015. Guests can enjoy the on-site bar.

There are shared bathrooms on the ground floor, and Mt. Fuji is visible on sunny days from several rooms. A TV is provided in the Queen Room. Everything! The staff were very helpful and nice, loved the atmosphere and waking up to the mt Fuji was the best part!

Right on the shore of the scenic Kawaguchiko Lake, Hotel New Century boasts spacious Japanese-style rooms overlooking the lake and Mount Fuji. It features spacious hot spring baths with spectacular nature views, a video games corner and a souvenir shop. Free Wi-Fi is available in the public areas. The staff are very nice and helpful, they provide very good services. We could see Mountain Fuji in the room. The scenery is so great and beautiful

Boasting views of Mount Fuji and Lake Kawaguchi for all rooms and hot-spring baths, Hotel Asafuji provides air-conditioned Japanese-style rooms with a green tea set. Free WiFi available throughout the hotel and free on-site parking is available. Free pick-up service is available from Kawaguchiko Station upon request. Absolutely amazing stay with views to the lake and the mt Fuji. The staff was welcoming and extremely nice. They accomodated any needs we had and I am sure they are capable of more. We were able to borrow bikes and enjoyed the ride around the lake. The room is bright and beautiful. The onsen has fantastic views for the perfect sunset.

Just 250 metres from Zenko-ji Temple, Matsuya Ryokan offers simple Japanese rooms with tatami-mat floors, a green-tea maker and an attached Western bathroom. The hotel features public baths.

Guests at Jizokan Matsuya Ryokan stay in rooms with shoji paper screens and traditional futon bedding. All rooms are air-conditioned and include a TV and slippers. Very nice ryokan managed by very nice people. The location is the best of all in Nagano, nearly in front of the Zenkoji temple. If you wish to try a Ryokan, which is something very different from a western style hotel and refreshing in many ways, just book it!

With a restaurant, the 3-star inn has air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi, each with a private bathroom. Guests can make use of a bar. Super friendly host and great food for dinner and breakfast. If we will have a possibility, we will come back once more on our trip back to Tokyo.

Situated within 1.8 km of Kanazawa Castle and 1.7 km of Kenrokuen Garden, NODE SAIGAWA features rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Kanazawa. The property is around 3.1 km from Kanazawa Station, 300 metres from Saigawa Bridge and 1.1 km from Nagamachi Bukeyashiki District. The property is non-smoking and is set 400 metres from Myoryuji - Ninja Temple. Everything was perfect! Great and cozy place to stay!

The accommodation offers 3-star accommodation with a sauna. The onsen is a plus for me and I like that they give you free breakfast.
