We wanted to visit the so-called Demon Slayer castle hotel. It’s out of the way so we rented a car rather than take transit. The drive itself was four hours from Tokyo. From the parking lot staff, to front desk, housekeeping and everyone there… the staff were all amazingly kind and patient. Not everyone speaks English, but there are a few. The rooms are spacious, clean, and very ryokan style (tatami) and the onsen was super clean. We had Kaiseki dinner and it was quite the experience. Food was delicious at dinner and the buffet lunch was traditionally Japanese. The stand out for us was the AIZU yogurt and AIZU maple syrup made from local chestnut trees. If anyone at Ookawaso reads this, please accept our thank you. You were all wonderful and we hope to visit from Canada again someday. Thank you for your patience with my eight year old son and our horrible Japanese.

Tagoto ligger 5 minutters kørsel fra Aizu Wakamatsu Station og har et varmt offentligt bad, japanske og vestlige værelser samt japanske retter. A wonderful ryokan in Aizuwakamatsu, with the most helpful and diligent staff! I never went a day without being completely full, my breakfast and dinner were absolutely wonderful! The bath area was calming and spotless clean! Cannot recommend this place enough!

Guests can enjoy the on-site restaurant.... APA - brilliant chain hotel. Everything was spot on, from the room, to cleaning to the suggestions on TV on how to property wear your yukata and what to do and visit in Japan. Nice touch.

Daiwa Roynet Hotel Koriyama Ekimae ligger i Koriyama, 2 minutters gang fra Koriyama Station og 26 km fra Nihonmatsu Station, og har massagebehandlinger. Consistantly great service from this hotel and we got it again this trip. Love the location (directly across from the station) and within walking distance to the car hire group we use. Staff are wonderful and the room is always top notch!

Ideally located just a 1-minute walk from JR Fukushima Station, this hotel features a 24-hour front desk and free property-wide Wi-Fi. It also offers a breakfast with various Japanese and local... Very polite and helpful staff. Everyone was great!

Hotel Route Inn Fukushima Nishi Inter ligger i Fukushima, 21 km fra Nihonmatsu Station og 44 km fra Koriyama Station. Her er en restaurant og gratis privat parkering samt gratis wi-fi overalt. Such a fancy hotel for the money, rooms were a really good size, plenty of roof for large suitcases

Urabandai Cranes ligger i Kitashiobara, 22 km fra Bandai-vulkanen, og har en have, et fælles opholdsområde og gratis privat parkering. The owner was very kind and helpful! The breakfast was delicious and the ofuro was also great!
