The location seems a bit strange at first, but in the morning you can see all the beautiful rice paddies outside! Absolutely stunning and breathtaking. The room itself was spacious enough for two, with good bed and big TV. Staff was attentive, you could buy snacks in the lobby since there are no combinis nearby. We only stayed one night but it seemed like a really nice hotel, even though it’s in the middle of nowhere - but since we were coming by car, it was not a problem.

The delightful interior design makes us feel like home. Every detail considers the visitors’ need. It’s very kind and professional of the staffs and the manager at the reception desk to introduce us local information and introduce us an extraordinary restaurant which provides Hida beef. The view of the room is amazing too.

This hotel exceeded our expectations! Everything was 10/10, from location, beautiful design of the hotel, kindness of the staff, cleanliness, everything!

The staff welcomed us wholeheartedly and helped us with nearly everything, including our luggage, recommendations and making a reservation at a local yakiniku restaurant. The staff members spoke good English so that also helped us a lot! The private bathroom was relaxing and the room and futons were really good. The simple breakfast was smart and sufficient to us, too. The location is just a 10 minute (very slightly uphill but straight) walk from the railway station, and the Lawson conbini (24/7) is very close by if you need anything else. Definitely would recommend this place!

All the meals were outstanding! Beautifully presented and delicious. Almost too beautiful to eat! The houses are one-of-a-kind and the setting is idyllic. Staff wonderfully kind and provided amazing help, including transfers to station which was so helpful. A highlight of our trip. Will tell all my friends to come! 😁

Nằm tại vị trí thuận tiện ở Hirayu Onsen, Takayama, Yunohirakan nằm cách Bảo tàng Hida Minzoku Mura Folk Village 38 km, Bảo tàng The Japan Ukiyo-e Museum 47 km và Ga Matsumoto 49 km. Absolutely stunning private onsen, really magical and beautiful. The food was outstanding and there was so much of it.

Tọa lạc ở Takayama, cách Khu nghỉ dưỡng Kamikochi 29 km, Minshuku Takizawa nhìn ra núi. The dinner was amazing - very delicious, thoughtfully plated and almost too much food for one person. The breakfast was very tasty too and I appreciated a lot that for breakfast in my part of the dining are the table and the chairs were repositioned so that I could look outside of the window to the maple trees and mountains while enjoying my breakfast. The outdoor onsen was beautiful, and in general the interior and details in the decoration were thoughtfully made. The accommodation keeper was extremely attentive and gave me a ride to the bus stop when leaving. When arriving to the hotel he picked me up as he saw me walking on the road and I hadn’t checked my messages where he said he could pick me up from the main road bus stop.

Located in 15-minute bus ride from JR Takayama Station, Guest House & Cafe SOY is surrounded by lush greenery. Free WIFi is provided and free private parking is available on site. Our stay at Soy was amazing! Tai and his parents made us immediately feel at home. They are so nice and warm. The house is realy impressive. It is built in the old Ryokan style and renovated by the family itself which gives your stay an authentic feeling! Thank you so much for everything! Many greetings to Tara from us :)

Reopened after renovation in 2022, Auberge Hidanomori is situated in quiet hills, a 10-minute shuttle ride from JR Takayama Station. So stylishly and cozily furbished, loved the view from the bathroom and it being next to a forest

A 3-minute drive from JR Gero Train Station, Izumi-so offers Japanese-style rooms, an indoor and an open-air natural hot spring bath and Japanese cuisine. My husband and I had an incredible experience at Izumi-So. Facilities were clean, owners were welcoming and incredibly friendly and hospitable. Highly recommend !
