Right opposite the hotel is a nice onsen, minimart, and bakery. Large common space on the first floor with pantry, large dining table and many sofa seats. You can heat up your cood, make instant noodle, have meals, with free coffee and tea.

I had a fantastic experience at this hotel! The private onsen was a highlight, offering a serene and relaxing experience. The check-in process was smooth and hassle-free, making it easy to settle in. Additionally, the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, which added to the overall pleasant atmosphere of the stay.

The service was out of this world, the food in a class of its own, and the room beautiful. Location was also perfect with close proximity to the public onsens. An extra treat was the two private onsens on the premises.

Only a 7-minute walk from the Kinosaki Onsen Ropeway authentic Japanese-style hotel Tokiwa Bekkan features natural hot spring baths, a lush garden and exquisite Japanese cuisine. This was my first time staying at a proper ryokan. The staff was extremely courteous and welcoming, offering to drive me to my destination every time I left. The ryokan was charming with its winding corridors and garden views. The onsen was small but appeared to be recently renovated. Free onsen pass to the public baths in the town was included in the price. Overall, the ryokan experience was worth it. My only regret is not having had a dinner there.
